Thanks to Manikandan of his successful Hydroponics in stopping me to enroll for CV Prakash Training. Also to add, got a storage built to store Nutrients and other equipments. Done on Saturday. Rested on Sunday and again, rush to Lalbagh on Monday Morning only to be disappointed that no coco peats, no information...so bought Bio-20 (Sachet), 3X (sachet) & Sanjeevini (All of Mangala Products) all of self learnt basis. Also picked bitter gourd seeds at Lalbagh. A Chillie Plant, you might be wondering why I am picking the odd food plants, the reason is to avoid rats and so alike since I still dont have green house built yet.
So at 4 pm I stopped in at Varsha Enterprises to pick coco peats, (5 kgs) and started to germinate the seeds in the tray as suggested by Ravikiran, coco peats was pretty wet and I need not have to add water to it. Mother gave some Dhania seeds (Cilantro, Corriander Leaves OR Kothambari Sappu)...so waiting for it to sprout as well...
Planted one bitter gourd seperately and kept outside in light for the simple reasons to study the effects of outside exposure, althou not placed in bright sunlight.
Chillie plant was taken off from the soil potted and washed the roots by running tap water cleaned it and loosely planted it into coco peats. The ready coco peats already have sufficient nutrients so have to get the nutrients today - Tuesday...
Somebody at the Lalbagh suggested to visit stores near Prakash Cafe (Chamarajpet) for nutrients. I remember Manikandan suggesting me the same as well.,
I am wondering how Mani and Ravi could manage the Hydroponics with water standing still since this requires movement of water for the plants to thrive with power outrages at random basis. I gotta call in Mani of the same and maybe if Ravi writes back so can ask him the same question.
That's all for yesterday's event...
